Join us for the second NATRC ride in Region 4 for the 2017 ride year at the 7il Ranch in Cat Spring, Texas. 7iL Trails is an 1150-acre working cattle ranch that was started in 1856. The camp has 27 sites with 30 amp electric service and water. Camp has plenty of open space for all sizes of rigs and primitive camping. Go to to reserve your spot on a first come basis. Land topography in this area is flat to gently rolling hills; trails go through wooded areas and clearings, creek crossings and ravines. Ponds and creeks provide good drinking water on trail. The trail surface is mostly natural grass and cow paths with some sandy areas particularly around creek beds. The ranch is barefoot friendly! Check in will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday although Registration will also be available at 6:30 a.m. on the day of competition with the vet check-in at 7:00 a.m. Time out onto the trail promptly at 7:30 a.m. each day.

Proof of negative Coggins (originals only) must be submitted at check-in. Dogs are permitted but MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES – NO EXCEPTIONS! No dogs allowed at meetings or meals.

Negative coggins required. Camping consists of large pasture. There are 13 electric spots and they will be assigned to the first 13 people who pay in full for the ride. Electric spots are $15 each. Additional primitive camping available for no charge, however there is also a ranch fee for everyone of $10 per day. There will be porta-potties, but otherwise the camping is primitive. Volunteers camp for free. Horse water is available from a central source, but it is advisable to bring some water if you can for convenience.
