GENERAL INFORMATION:
Join us for the first ever competitive trail ride at Bell Cow Lake in Chandler, Oklahoma. It has well maintained, permanently marked trails that are easy and barefoot friendly. There is a nice mix of wooded and open meadow trails with frequent access to the lake for water on the trail. Helmets are required for all riders under 18 years of age. Membership is free in NATRC for those who have never been a member. Please visit www.natrc.org and sign up to be a member.
The secretary office will be open on Friday, June 9 th at 1 p.m. Check in with the judges will begin at 3 p.m. We expect to ride out at the break of dawn on Saturday and Sunday… approximately 6:30 a.m. Late check-in’s on Saturday will need to be ready to check in by 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Negative coggins required on all horses in camp. Horses may be stationary tied or secured on a sliding tether. Tree savers must be used on trees. Dogs must be leashed or confined at all times. Campground and lake property are owned by the City of Chandler which prohibits any alcohol on the property.

Camp Information:
This ride location has an excellent equestrian campground with permanent restrooms and showers. The equestrian RV campsites have electric and water. There is also primitive camping. Electric camping spaces cost $20 per night and primitive camping cost $8 per night. We have all equestrian camping spaces reserved until May 10, 2017, at which time we will release all spaces not fully paid. Electric spaces will be reserved for those who pay their full entry and camping prior to May 10th...but first paid, first reserved. Please let us know if you need an electric space for Thursday, June 8th and/or Sunday, June 11th.
Manure must be placed in the bins located to the south of the bathrooms past camping space 11.

Meals:
We expect to have a meal for all to purchase on Saturday evening. More to come on that. Key workers and management will be fed all weekend. Lunch for all will be provided for free courtesy of Phil Brodersen on Saturday and Sunday.

DIRECTIONS:
There are blacktop, trailer friendly roads that take you from the freeway to the campground. Entering Bell Cow Lake, Chandler, Oklahoma in google maps will direct you to the Bell Cow Lake equestian camp, which is Area C. Basically, if coming from the West, take I-44 East (Turner Turnpike) to exit 166 for Highway 18, Chandler & Cushing. Once through the turnpike turnstile, turn left (north) on Highway 18, drive approximately ½ mile to 890 Road and turn left (west) on 890 Road for 2.9 miles until you are forced to turn right (north) into Camp Area C. If coming from the East, take I-44 West (Turner Turnpike) to exit 166 and follow the directions above.
